How It Works

Assess. Score. Improve. Reassess.

Protecting Our Students has built the first standardized safety measurement system for K–12 schools in America.

SITE|SAFETYNET℠ is a comprehensive, standards-based safety self-assessment platform for K–12 schools, built around POSI's 4-Level Safety Standard℠ and 94-Point Safety Zones℠.

Built on the POSI Framework · Powered by 94-Point Safety Zones℠ · Private by Default

Four Proprietary Self-Evaluation Tools for School Safety One National Standard.

The 4-Level Safety Standard℠ defines what comprehensive K–12 safety looks like. The 94-Point Safety Zones℠ make it measurable. The Dynamic Safety Score℠ shows where every school stands. The SafeSchool REPORT℠ shows what to do next. The Assess → Score → Improve → Reassess cycle makes safety a continuous operating system, not a one-time event.

Every component is purpose-built, works together, and is delivered through your SITE|SAFETYNET℠ membership.

How the Platform Works.

Schools self-assess using POSI's standards-based framework. A school administrator answers 900 structured questions across 94 safety zones. Responses generate a Dynamic Safety Score℠ and a SafeSchool REPORT℠ that prioritizes improvements. Schools reassess on a regular cycle. POSI does not currently visit campuses to verify scores — schools assess themselves against POSI's published standards. An independent verification tier (POSI-Verified℠) is in development.

Safety isn't a one-time event — it's a continuous operating system. Every membership follows a four-step cycle.

01
Step 1
Assess

Your evaluation across 94 defined safety zones examining every dimension against the standard.

02
Step 2
Score

Data feeds the Dynamic Safety Score℠ — a single verified number showing exactly where you stand.

03
Step 3
Improve

The SafeSchool REPORT℠ delivers findings and a prioritized action roadmap for your campus.

04
Step 4
Reassess

Schedule reassessments to close the loop, track progress over time, and document safety gains.

🔁 The cycle repeats. Safety is never "done." Each reassessment strengthens the score and sharpens the roadmap.
