Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the SITE|SAFETYNET℠ website and platform. By accessing our site, creating an account, or starting an assessment, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
1. The Platform
SITE|SAFETYNET℠ is a standards-based safety self-assessment platform for K–12 schools, built on the 4-Level Safety Standard℠ and the 94-Point Safety Zones℠. Schools assess themselves, receive a Dynamic Safety Score℠ and prioritized findings, and reassess on a continuous cycle.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
- The platform is intended for school and district personnel aged 18 or older.
- By creating an account on behalf of a school or district, you represent that you are authorized to do so by that institution's leadership.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for activity under your account.
3. Plans, Payments, and Cancellation
A. Free tier.
The Level 3 Safety Partnership Assessment℠ is available at no cost, with no expiration and no payment information required.
B. Paid plans.
Paid plans are billed annually at the price displayed at enrollment, processed securely through Stripe. Prices may change for future renewal terms; we will notify you before any renewal at a changed price.
C. Renewal.
Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each annual term unless cancelled before the renewal date.
D. Cancel anytime.
You may cancel at any time from your account or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewal; your plan remains active through the end of the current paid term. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable once an assessment term has begun.
E. Effect of cancellation on data.
After cancellation, your School Assessment Data remains yours and remains governed by Section 4 of our Privacy Policy. You may export your reports before the end of your term and may request deletion at any time.
4. Assessment Services and Safety Scores
A. Self-assessment model.
The platform delivers school-administered self-assessments. Scores, findings, and reports are generated from information provided by the school's own personnel. We do not independently inspect, verify, or audit a school's facilities or practices unless separately agreed in writing.
B. Accuracy of inputs.
The quality of assessment outputs depends on the accuracy and completeness of the information your team provides. Schools are responsible for the truthfulness of their responses.
C. No guarantee of safety.
A Dynamic Safety Score℠, SafeSchool REPORT℠, or any other assessment output is a measurement and planning tool — not a guarantee, warranty, or prediction of safety. No score, however high, ensures that a safety incident will not occur. The platform does not replace professional security consulting, law enforcement guidance, engineering or code inspections, legal advice, or a school's own judgment and emergency planning.
D. Data ownership and confidentiality.
School Assessment Data is owned by the school and governed by Section 4 of our Privacy Policy — private by default, published only with the school's written authorization.
E. Service availability.
The platform may be updated, suspended, or modified as we improve the frameworks. Material changes affecting active assessments will be communicated to participating schools.
5. Intellectual Property
